Jessica Brabant - ViolistJessica Brabant, originally from Long Island, NY, is an accomplished violist with 30 years of experience. She has performed in concert halls and festivals all over New York state, including prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall at Lincoln Center, Manhattan School of Music, Fringe Festival, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Egg at Albany, NY, and Eastman Theatre. Jessica earned her Bachelors of Arts in Viola Performance from Purchase College, where she studied under the tutelage of Ira Weller. Jessica has played in studio recordings and in pit orchestras for musicals, ballets, and operas in the NYC and Rochester areas. Since relocating to Rochester, NY in 2012, she has been performing with the Roberts Symphony Orchestra as principal violist and has established herself as an active chamber musician within the school. Aside from her music career, Jessica is a full-time tech recruiter for a video game company. She lives in the Chili area with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the vibrant cultural scene in Rochester. |
